Hafslund Oslo Celsio (Celsio) uses local excess heat, that would normally be lost, to produce new, renewable water-based district heating and cooling. For more than a decade, Init has been a trusted partner to Celsio. Celsio needed to upgrade and optimise its control systems to effectively manage the increasing demands of Oslo’s district heating. The main challenge was to ensure the system’s current efficiency. At the same time, Celsio wanted to future-proof the SCADA system be preparing it for e.g.:
