Zatea becomes

part of Init.

With the acquisition of Danish Zatea, Init expands its offerings to the Life Science industry. At the same time, Init strengthens its position in the Danish market with location in Skovlunde.

Init was established in January 2022 with the merger of Danish Picca and PD-Automation. Today the group comprise Swedish-Norwegian Acobia, Swedish Martensson Consulting and Industriprojektbyrån Engineering AB, Norwegian Nebb Engineering, and the Danish companies Logimatic, AN Group, Inuatek, 3Tech Automation, ProjectBinder, MBB Consult, Daniit, FH Software, AutomationLab and now Zatea.

Strengething offerings to life science customers

Since 2011, Zatea has provided automation and industrial IT services within upgrades and productivity improvements of filling lines. This included serialisation and pharmaceutical process optimisations. In Init, Zatea will have a close collaboration with ProjectBinder within the Life Science industry.

“We look forward to working with each other and benefiting from knowledge, experience, employees and projects, which will bring many benefits to the further development and growth of Zatea. Our focus on the life science industry fits well with the rest of the group, and together we become an even stronger partner and workplace, for the benefit of all our employees and customers.”

Jakob Rostgaard Steen, CEO of Zatea

Zatea maintains its current activities, including work and project approaches. And the previous management of the company continues with an ownership stake in Init.

“Zatea is particularly strong within process optimisation and production improvements in the Life Science industry. Through projects focusing on design changes, programming, implementation of process, and system improvements, they have gained a thorough understanding of how different types of technology can be used for optimisation. We look forward to a close cooperation and that we together offer our customers the best advice and solutions on the market”

Martin Petersen, CEO of ProjectBinder

With Zatea’s entry into the group, Init now has approx. 640 employees spread across locations in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, North Macedonia, Serbia and Spain.
