Init surpasses DKK 1 billion in revenue
ahead of schedule.
Init has reached a major milestone by exceeding DKK 1 billion in revenue ahead of plan. In just four years, the company has grown from a start-up into a prominent player in the Nordic market for industrial IT and automation.
By the end of 2025, Init Denmark was awarded the Børsen Gazelle 2025 – a distinction granted to companies that demonstrate sustained growth, have doubled their revenue over four years, and maintain a positive operating profit.
Strategic acquisitions drive capacity growth
The company’s strong performance is driven by increasing demand for automation and digitalisation across the industrial sector, combined with Init’s ability to deliver scalable solutions that evolve with customer needs.
This positive trajectory is further supported by an active acquisition strategy. Since 2021, Init has completed 16 acquisitions of industry companies, primarily in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. These acquisitions have strengthened competencies, expanded capacity, and ensured high-quality service delivery to customers.
The market is increasingly demanding integrated solutions where automation, IT integration, and service work seamlessly together. We have made targeted investments in companies that strengthen our capabilities and expand our capacity.
says Henrik Jensen, CEO of Init Denmark.
Focus on rapid integration
According to Init’s management, the continuous integration of new capabilities and expertise has created significant opportunities, while also placing high demands on the organisation.
The numbers clearly reflect our progress. However, it is the dedication of our employees that has enabled us to integrate new companies quickly while maintaining high delivery reliability and customer satisfaction.
says Henrik Jensen.
Init views the Gazelle award not only as proof of financial growth but also as recognition of a strong organisational culture and the ability to meet complex customer needs in a competitive market.
