(W)Init Skopje: A Memorable Gathering of

Innovation, Collaboration & Growth.

In the fast-paced world of industrial IT and automation, some moments are worth pausing to remember. This is especially true when they leave a lasting impact on how we work and grow together. Following this – one such moment was (W)Init Skopje, hosted by Init Norway’s business unit in Skopje, North Macedonia dedicated to innovation, collaboration, and growth.

Although it’s been a while since this remarkable gathering took place, we’re excited to finally share the story behind it. Why now? Because the value of what was built during (W)Init Skopje  is still shaping our work today:

🟠 stronger cross-border collaboration,
🟠 deeper cultural understanding, and
🟠 shared visions for the future

Our two-day event brought together colleagues from across our offices in Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. This was an unique opportunity to connect in person, exchange ideas, and strengthen inter-office ties.

Day 1: Welcoming Moments and Inspiring Conversations

We kicked things off with a welcoming cocktail and company overview at our newly expanded Skopje office. It was the perfect informal setting to meet and greet, explore the space, and set the tone for the days ahead.

Following this, we moved into an afternoon of insightful sessions and open networking. The discussions were vibrant, touching on key topics that affect our shared roadmap – spanning from digital transformation to team alignment across locations.

Finally, to wrap up the day, we visited a well-renowned winery for an unforgettable evening. The wine tasting and dinner experience offered not just beautiful scenery but also a relaxed space to foster deeper connections.

Day 2: Workshops, Ideas, and Group-Wide Innovation

We shifted into workshop mode the day after, and the energy was high. Teams participated in focused sessions and strategy discussions, with a clear emphasis on finding new ways to innovate across borders and elevate our group-wide collaboration.

Naturally, this format encouraged idea-sharing, constructive dialogue, and practical planning. It wasn’t just another meeting – it was a true group-wide alignment effort, and one that’s still reflecting in our team work and partnership.

As noted, the (W)Init Skopje event was more than just a gathering – it was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together with a shared purpose. And as we continue to grow and evolve as a Group, the connections made and lessons learned remain just as relevant today.

Here’s to more collaboration, more innovation, and more moments like these. 🥂 #WeAreInitTogether
