News | Necto joins Init | 27 April

New addition to the group:

Necto joins Init.

With an ambition to unite the best companies in industrial IT and automation in the Nordic region, Init has grown rapidly over the past four years. Today, Init is one of the largest automation companies in the Nordic region. But the strong growth is just as much about bringing together skilled specialists in an effective interdisciplinary network.

New technology is driven and developed by people

The fact that Necto now chooses to become part of Init is a strategic step that also ensures an expansion of the professional network in the group: The new colleagues come with strong competencies in IT and control systems, and will now be part of a team of specialists who develop digitalisation and automation solutions for industry.

Over the past few years, Init has built a structure that makes it easy to onboard new companies and their competencies into the overall organization quickly and efficiently. But at the same time, it is important for Init that the group’s new business unit retains its independence and distinctiveness and keeps doing what has made them successful.

Likewise, Necto will continue with the same management and staff. The biggest difference is that the company will now have access to the combined experience, knowledge and expertise of the entire Init group and thus be able to take on even larger and more complex tasks.

With the acquisition of Necto, Init establishes a presence in Kristiansand, the Southernmost point in Norway, and strengthens the position within metals and mining, and other industries.

New technology is driven and developed by people. Therefore, it is crucial for us to gather some of the industry’s most talented specialists in a community where we share knowledge and develop solutions together. We are therefore very pleased that Necto will now be part of the group.

Alexander Risøy, CEO of Init Norway.

For us, it’s not just about becoming part of a larger organization. It is also about becoming part of a team where there is a focus on both professionalism, collaboration and employee well-being. We are confident that we have found this in Init.

Trond Kiledal, CEO of Necto.
