Automation Lab

becomes part of Init.

Automation Lab becomes part of Init to strengthen the group’s joint position in the Danish market with locations in Svendborg, Albertslund and Vrå.

Init was established in January 2022 and with Automation Lab’s entry into the group, it now has approx. 650 employees spread across locations in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Serbia, North Macedonia and Spain.

“We look forward to working with each other and leveraging knowledge, experience, employees and projects, which will bring many benefits to the further development and growth of Automation Lab. Our focus on business areas within the green transition, PtX, process plants and machine control fits well with the rest of the group and together we become an even stronger partner and workplace, for the benefit of all our employees and customers.”

Lars Kirkegaard, CEO of Automation Lab

Automation Lab maintains its current activities, including work and project approaches, just as the previous management continues in Automation Lab and with an ownership stock in Init.

“With Automation Lab on board, we strengthen our competencies, customer relations and not least our focus on sustainability, which is a major priority area for the entire group. In addition, the geographical location of Automation Lab will significantly benefit our future recruitment of employees – and together we will cover Denmark much better. Thus, we take another step towards our ambition to become the Nordic region’s leading supplier of industrial IT and automation solutions to industry. Together with Automation Lab, we look forward to creating an even stronger group.”

Henrik Jensen, CEO of Init Denmark
