New companies | Tipatek joins Init | 26 October
Init expands again:
Tipatek joins Init.
With an ambition to unite the best companies in industrial IT and automation in the Nordic region, Init has grown rapidly over the past four years. Today, Init is one of the largest automation companies in the Nordic region. But the strong growth is just as much about bringing together skilled specialists in an effective interdisciplinary network.
New technology is driven & developed by people
Therefore, the acquisition of Tipatek is a strategic step that also ensures an expansion of the professional network in the group: Tipatek comes with strong competencies in ABB systems, among other things, and they will now be part of a team of specialists who develop digitalisation and automation solutions for the industry.
Over the past few years, Init has built a structure that makes it easy to onboard new companies and their competencies into the overall organisation quickly and efficiently. But at the same time, it is important for Init that the group’s new business unit retains its independence and distinctiveness and keeps doing what has made them successful.
Tipatek will therefore continue to be run from the same address, with the same management and staff. The biggest difference will be that the company will now have access to the combined experience, knowledge and expertise of the entire Init group and thus be able to solve even larger and more complex tasks
An obvious next step – and a strong match
For Per Lund, CEO & Partner and Brian Quaade, CTO & Partner at Tipatek, becoming part of Init is an obvious next step for the company:
We are far from finished building Tipatek, which will now be part of Init. We have a strong team of employees, customers who show us great trust, and lots of ideas for what we want to create. With Init, we get more specialists to work with and an organisation behind us, so we can spend more effort on the technology and the development of the business.
But it is about more than the professional opportunities. Already at the first meeting, we could feel that we shared the view of running a business with trust and room for people. Therefore, it is a natural next step for us. Together, we can build on what makes Tipatek special and develop good automation solutions with our employees and customers.
CEO of Init Denmark, Henrik Jensen, is also looking forward to Tipatek’s entry into Init:
With Tipatek joining the team, we gain some of the industry’s most experienced specialists in ABB and Siemens technologies. This further strengthens Init’s expertise, particularly within the ABB 800xA platform, and enables us to take on even larger and more exciting projects together. We are therefore delighted to welcome Tipatek as part of Init and look forward to the opportunities this collaboration will create.
